Our services encompass transportation, whether by camels, 4×4 vehicles, or donkeys, and food provision. Whether you’re trekking or hiking, venturing into the desert offers an opportunity to discover a marvelous environment and experience a nomadic way of life. Days in the desert are marked by the breathtaking spectacle of sunrise and sunset at the bivouac.

For bivouacs, consider bringing a tent if you prefer not to sleep under the stars and a good warm sleeping bag (temperatures can drop significantly at night, especially in winter). Pack warm clothes for evenings around the fire, light clothing for the day, a hat, sunglasses, and sturdy, well-broken-in shoes for camel rides and treks. Include high-protection sunscreen, and for short walks, bring a water bottle (see below for basic equipment). Tea will be offered throughout your journey!

Don’t forget your camera and plenty of memory cards (or storage) to capture these exceptional moments, especially during the period from October to April.

Tea will be a constant companion on your journey, prepared in the Tuareg culture. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be prepared by a Tuareg cook, offering a variety of meals, including soups, stews, and the famous « Taguela » – a slab of wheat cooked under the ashes.

Daily Meals Include :

– Lunch : Cold meal around a mixed salad and tea
– Evening Meal : Hot meal with soup and main course

Drinking water is provided on all routes and replenished at each water point.

The Tuareg team supporting you includes a guide, cook, camel handlers (for camel treks), donkey handlers (for donkey hikes), and 4×4 vehicle support (for hiking with 4×4 assistance or 4×4 circuits). Our guides, with perfect knowledge of the desert, are dedicated to ensuring you receive the warmest welcome throughout your stay.

Passport & Visa :

For foreign nationals, a visa is mandatory. You must arrange this at the Algerian Consulate. Please contact us, and we will provide a certificate of support for our local team. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the return date.

No vaccines are required. There are no mosquitoes in the desert, and dangerous animals are not present in winter, as snakes and scorpions are in hibernation.
