I was born in the desert to a nomadic family, in Matarat, at the heart of the Tassili N’Ajjer mountains, at the beginning of the spring rainy season. In my youth, I tended to sheep and camels with my grandparents. In my nomadic life, nothing in the world was more captivating than a caravan winding through the sands, or more moving than the poetry of a nomadic camp at nightfall when fires lit up and herds returned. This sacred hour when dunes and sky merged their colors ignited by the setting sun. It was also the most beautiful to fall asleep every night under a protective sky, a sky sprinkled with millions of stars that illuminated my dreams.

At the age of seven, I was about to leave for the city of DJANET to pursue my studies. This journey marked me, where memories of desert nostalgia collided with hopes for a different life. The desert taught me a connection with the mysterious infinite.

For me, the desert is a deep and absolute passion, filled with images that not even death has the right to take away one day.

In 2002, I entered the tourism industry, starting as a camel handler, then a donkey driver, and eventually a guide until I opened my own agency, SAHARA AFRICA.

I loved the tourism profession in the desert because before anything else, I loved my homeland and the desert. I am a lover of the desert, sharing it with those who appreciate the freedom of nature, the result of connections and friendships woven in the desert.

I have led numerous groups from various countries around the world, including Europe, Asia, the United States, Africa, and Australia. I love the desert because it is my home and for its charming beauty and tranquility. It is the soul of my life.
