AUTISM SAHARA CHALLENGE 2023
Testimonial from Sam Berrandou from Lumpini Muay Thai St Denis. Sam participated in our +200 km challenge in the heart of the Sahara.
« I greatly appreciated the communal life of this group of athletes (Cécile, Khadija Aderdour, Andalib Hachani, Folly Teko, Yacine Djaziri, and of course, the indispensable Laïd) during this week of trekking with the goal of walking 200 km in the desert. The support and solidarity of the entire team led to the success of this challenge.
Thanks to Moussa Touareg, Trekking Organizer, and his team of warriors who prepared meals for us at each bivouac to give us the energy needed to accomplish this challenge.
Thanks also to our autistic friends who accompanied us with portraits of the 33 children who boosted us and allowed us to complete this life trial.
In any case, this experience allowed me to assess my life journey and revisit my human priorities. I am ready for another action in favor of our Tuareg friends and their children in the middle of the desert.

The testimony of Karim, the father of Ismaël, just like Adam, both children with their unique characteristics and a true, unfiltered personality within the autism spectrum.
If you’re looking for an exotic, authentic responsible, and discovery-rich destination, look no further: Djanet is made for you.
I walk in the desert.
Before me, this vast expanse. Nothing but the infinity of sand.
Témoignage de Cécile Thiebault, qui a vécu une expérience inoubliable avec nous dans le vaste Sahara.
Cécile’s testimony, the tireless active member of the association, always at the forefront to embark on the journey with us. She shares her experience for a new adventure with us in the vast Sahara.
The project initiated by Adam in May 2021 is soon coming to an end… and what a finish, the endless expanses of the great Sahara.
